Bloomingdale Elementary Named 2023 GaDOE Reward School

Good afternoon, Bloomingdale Bear Families,

I am deeply honored to share with you the outstanding news that Bloomingdale Elementary School has been named a 2023 Title I Reward School by the Georgia Department of Education. Reward schools are a select group that represents the top 5% of Title I schools demonstrating remarkable growth when comparing the most recent two years of data on the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS). It fills me with immense pride to announce that Bloomingdale Elementary School stands as one of only two schools within the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System to achieve this prestigious accolade at the state level for the year 2023.

This honor stands as a testament to the dedication and tireless effort displayed by our exceptional faculty, staff, and students. From our remarkable teachers and paraprofessionals to our invaluable office staff, school nutrition team, dedicated counselors, diligent custodians, and all other individuals who contribute to our educational ecosystem, our staff exudes a profound commitment to molding our students into future-ready scholars.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the entire Bloomingdale Faculty & Staff to our entire school community for your invaluable partnership and support. Our students, each and every day, engage in the pursuit of knowledge and endeavor to put forth their very best. While we celebrate this momentous achievement from the Georgia Department of Education, we are acutely aware that there is still much work to be done. We remain committed to setting our educational goals even higher, driven by a firm belief in our students' potential.
